Bob Gude - Leasing Manager

Robert Gude joined Dean Realty Co. in May of 2009 as one of the company's leasing managers. Bob specializes in the leasing of Cambridge Business Park office and flex properties, as well as coordinates build-to-suit development projects for Cambridge land holdings in both Missouri and Kansas. He utilizes his expertise to explore creative uses for the company's Historic Imperial Brewery District and surrounding acreage to include retail and mixed use applications.

Bob brings to the company an impressive track record of successful real estate development. His varied experience has afforded him strong skills in project design, contract estimation and negotiation, financial procurement, project and property management, as well as overall sales and leasing. For eleven years he served as vice president for Jones Development Company, where he was instrumental in the development of over 60 single-tenant build-to-suit projects in 26 states. During his tenure, the company's development projects grew from $15 million to over $100 million annually. There he managed ongoing client relationships, primarily serving FedEx Express, FedEx Ground and FedEx Freight.

Before Jones Development Company, Bob served as market representative for Prologis, the world's largest owner, manager and developer of distribution facilities. Prologis purchased John Brown & Company's portfolio, an assemblage of properties Bob had previously leased and helped to develop in the late 80s and early 90s. While with Prologis, Bob was responsible for leasing a 1.5 million square foot portfolio comprised of 29 buildings.

Between positions with John Brown & Company and Prologis, Bob performed acquisition and leasing responsibilities for Prentiss Properties where he managed a 1.6 million square foot portfolio. Prentiss Properties was a Dallas-based developer who purchased an industrial portfolio in Kansas City and selected Bob to manage the operation.

With John Brown & Company, Bob was project manager/sales and leasing agent, overseeing a 20 building, 1.1 million square foot portfolio. John Brown & Company owned and managed a growing portfolio of properties primarily in Riverside, averaging two spec-built office/warehouse buildings per year.

In his free time, Bob enjoys many outdoor activities with his family.
