Kent Kordes - IT Specialist

Kent Kordes joined Dean Realty Co. in January of 2009 as the company's information technology specialist. He brings 15 years of significant experience, from software knowledge and web site development to technical networking and audio/visual dynamics. In addition to keeping server and desktop computer systems running smoothly, he handles special projects, such as researching equipment purchases, making installations, writing custom databases, creating and enhancing the company web sites and exploring ways to improve tenant services.

Kent previously worked as a network engineer with Johnson Networking Solutions, who provided IT services to Dean Realty Co. for several years. Prior to Johnson Networking, he operated his own computer and mail order software business for eight years.

Kent is experienced with a variety of Microsoft products from desktop to server applications. He is knowledgeable of C++, Python, PHP and other programming and web development standards. Kent attended Missouri Western before moving on to the University of Missouri Kansas City where he studied computer science.

In his spare time, Kent enjoys activities with his family and girlfriend. He also enjoys cycling and occasionally hooking up a vintage computer to relive the good old days!
