Lisa Reyes - Field Services Group Technician

Lisa S. Reyes came to Dean Realty Co. in October of 2011 as a member of the company's field services group. Her primary duties are related to paint projects throughout the company portfolio including everything from warehouse, flex and office suite interiors to exterior projects such as curbs, bollards, trim and doors. Lisa will have significant and ongoing paint projects both above ground and in the company's Downtown Underground. The remainder of Lisa's time will be spent learning general maintenance and repair duties alongside the field services group staff. She will share in their commitment to an outstanding tenant experience while maintaining Dean Realty Co.'s 2.3 million square foot portfolio.

Lisa has significant experience in the painting trade, most recently serving the University of Kansas Department of Student Housing as a journeyman painter. There she became adept at drywall, taping and mudding while painting the university's dorms. She has additionally worked for two union shops as a member of the Local Painter's Union 861, serving in roles as journeyman painter and apprentice drywaller. She earned her OSHA certification and training in fall protection, CPR, respirator use and first aid. She was a member of the Kansas Union Painters from 1994 to 1996 and the Painter's District Council #3 from 2004 through 2008.

Lisa enjoys cooking Mexican food for her friends and family. She helps her mother raise money for needy families, churches, clinics and community organizations by working in the family food trailer. She enjoys traveling to new places and learning about different cultures, and takes at least one trip a year to Colorado to walk in the woods and mountains and trout fish.
