Pam Eslinger came to Dean Realty Co. in May of 1999 as the company's accounting supervisor, directing a staff of six accounting assistants. In August of 2008, she was promoted to the position of controller. As controller, Pam is responsible for monitoring all accounting transactions, production of financial reports and supervising Realty's accounting assistant positions. She monitors taxes and insurance for the company's 2.3 million square foot portfolio, developed and raw land holdings, and manages financial processes for additional income streams, such as billboards. Her group manages accounting processes for a tenant base of over 150 office, flex and industrial businesses, as well as expense and payroll functions for Realty staff. Pam is the company's systems administrator for the Yardi Property Management System.
Pam has significant experience in the automobile dealership industry, serving in senior accounting positions for Midway Ford Truck Center as early as 1973. Other positions included a stint as business manager for Art Bunker Porsche Audi for seven years where she was in charge of the company's financial operations. She further served the industry throughout the 1990s as an independent consultant. In 1993, she became a licensed health and life insurance agent.
Pam was born in Kansas City, Missouri, moving to the farm community of Dearborn, Missouri at age five. She continues to live in the area with her husband, Gary, commuting into Kansas City for work each day. In her spare time, she and her husband run a successful cattle business, and enjoy spending time with their son, Aaron, and wife, Susan. Pam is an avid horseback rider and enjoys taking time to read a good book.
