Robert Sanders - Field Services Group Senior Technician

Robert Sanders joined Dean Realty Co. in July 2008 as a maintenance technician in the field services group. In this capacity, Robert is responsible for assisting the field services team with keeping the various office, flex and industrial buildings in the company's 2.3 million square foot portfolio in prime condition, as well as the Downtown Underground. Robert is instrumental in the company's commitment to quality service through exercising exemplary customer service skills when handling tenant requests. He further keeps the Dean Realty Co. headquarters offices running smoothly. Robert is exceptionally skilled in HVAC, electrical and plumbing.

Robert came to Dean Realty Co. from the Kansas City Airport Marriott where he served as senior maintenance technician. There he was responsible for maintaining boiler and HVAC equipment, responding to room customer requests and keeping kitchen equipment maintained. Prior to the Marriott, he worked for American Mechanical as an HVAC technician, keeping equipment repaired and installing replacement units. Further experience includes a five-year position with Executive Hills as assistant building engineer overseeing full-service office buildings. The job included care of the Country Club Plaza office buildings in their portfolio. For six years he partnered with a friend in the remodeling business serving both residential and commercial clients.

Robert attended Metropolitan Community Business and Technology College from 2002 to 2004. He holds an associate job ready certificate in HVAC.

In his spare time, Robert enjoys traveling with his wife to destinations like Hawaii and Australia.
