Terry Tice - Field Services Group Technician

Terry Tice came to Dean Realty Co. in August of 2009 to serve as a roof bolt strapper with the field services group. In this role, Terry is primarily responsible for strapping techniques utilized in underground mines. His duties include strapping older bolts, working with the rock bolting crew to install new bolts as needed, and scaling activities. The job requires a thorough understanding of the unique and customized heavy equipment associated with the tasks. Terry also provides relief and assistance to other positions, such as construction, cleaning and picking up supplies.

Terry previously worked for Paramount Cap Company as a hat maker. For his 2-1/2 years there he was involved in various positions from assembling hats to driving a fork truck. At Central Power Systems & Services, Terry loaded and unloaded trucks with a fork truck, inventoried stock, provided customers with products and performed shipping duties. His position there also included the tear down and rebuild of diesel engines.

In his spare time, Terry enjoys the outdoors, including camping, hiking on the Ozark trail and cat fishing. Terry is also a Chiefs fan and enjoys watching the team's games.
